I’ve got an Job interview on Friday at 11am in London!!! It’s the same kind of job, but paid 17-19k (plus 5 weeks holidays) and PERMANENT. Yes, Ladies and gentleman, your eyes are not deceiving you, it’s a permanent job. None of this crappy tempwork, 6 months bullshit. Permanent, baby! :D

Basically as far as I can gather it’s a small company that doesn’t only test Xbox, but also PlayStation2 and PC games. That’ll be interesting. According to the email sent by the recruitment agency they are also thinking of developing an Xbox360 title.

I’ve made up my mind as to what I want to study. I’m going to take an OU course starting in November, lasting six months and giving me 30 points. The course is called ‘Managing in the workplace’ and I think that it’ll gve me many long- and short-term bonusses. I mean, it’ll be interesting studying different angles, etc.

The money situation seems to have solved itself again as well. My dad is going to pay for the OU course (which I’ll be getting paid by OU, as I’m poor enough to receive their benefits :( ) and my grandparents have also mentioned that they’ll ‘sort out something’ without me even mentioning money to them. I’ll still need to borrow money from Ian to go to London on Friday, which is something he won’t be happy about. But with me family’s money arriving by next week he’ll get it all back and the entire rent.

Otherwise, I’m going to bed now and try to watch James Bond: Die another day (the one with Madonna) again. I’ve tried it the last few nights, but always fall asleep. Last night I fell asleep during the Madonna bit which is maybe halfway through. And I also need some sleep as I need to prepare myself for Friday (well, get my nerves together).
