So Andrew and Ian spent most of the day with one of Andrews mates to buy him a dog. They found this Labrador puppy named Bella (which now turns out to be more of a Labrador/Rottweiler mix). Turns out that Andrew’s mate decided after a few hours that it was all too much for him and he wants to get rid of the dog.
As both Andrew and Ian fell in love with the dog straight away and have been talking of getting another dog for a while now, Andrew ended up bringing Bella back with him. We’ll need to see how it goes and if it doesn’t work out she’ll have to go back to the place they got her from.
She is a lot bigger than I imagined. She is maybe 4 times the size of Suki and A LOT bigger than Phoebe obviously. Her fur is all black and her ears just unbelieveably soft.
This sounds all good and she is a lovely dog, although overexcited (she is only 6 months old), but she has so much more power than Phoebe and Phoebe was very, very scared of her. More scared than she’d ever been of Suki.
So what do you think, can a Labrador/Rottweiler puppy that probably has never met a cat before and a cat that was scared for a whole month of a Yorkshire terrier similar of her size get along? Anyone had any experiences with that? Do I worry too much?
