Are we just looking for a friend?

I’ve found this great post on another blog earlier and I thought I’d share it with you all.

Personally, yes, I am looking for new people to meet/talk to/be friends with, but aren’t we all in a way?

    I don’t know.I’ve made a Myspace account too but the people who are on my friends list are the people I already know.And there’s nothing bad in making new friends.Man is a social animal after all and you never know which person could stand by you in a particular situation.

    Oh, tehre is nothing bad with making new friends, but it seems these days that people are adding each other everywhere like crazy. Be it Xbox Live, MSN, or similar things, I can loads of people adding me every week.

    Yeah, I have no problem with someone adding me (at the end of the day we are all sociable), but adding just to show off (or whatever other reasons there are…) seems pointless to me.
