The Pimps are at Sea

Yes, you have read correctly, the pimps are now at sea.

Anyone who doesn’t know what that is, ‘Pimps at Sea’ is the codename for Halo 3, created by Bungie Studios. Several people on my Friends List are now playing the alpha build. :D

Oh yeah, heard about that. Halo just revolutionised MS’s reputation in the gaming industry. [Not that they weren't publishing good games earlier, there were many hallmark releases like Age of Empires etc.]

And no, I don’t like FPS, more of an Adventure / Strategy / Sports junkie! :)

Well, the Halo/Halo2 games made the Xbox. Until recently Halo2 was the most played Xbl game for 360 and Xbox combined. The game came out 2 years ago and the 360 1 year ago, so that definitely makes that an achievement.

Halo 3 is the most anticipated 360 game.

Gears of War is currently the top ranking game right? I may not own a XBox or 360 but I like to keep in touch. :) Halo showed the world what the XBox was capable of, for a console to work there should be good games available too. Halo showed that. Btw, is any Pokemon game available for XBox or 360? or are they strictly Nintendo only?

GoW has been top for about a month I believe. It’s a good game, but it doesn’t have the variety of Halo/Halo 2.

I don’t think that there is a Pokemon game, I think the only one remotely like it is Yu-Gi-Oh (Or however it’s spelled!). ;)

Yeah that was what the Pokemon website said. That’s why I prefer PC, run almost any game you wan’t plus with emulators like the now defunct Bleem! you can play console games too. ;)

My PC is nowhere near capable of even handling old games. That’s why I like consoles. Never have to upgrade, etc.

True, I don’t even have a graphics card. The onboard one performs a bit satisfactorily. XBox 360 is just in the horizon. Seems closer at times, farther at times….
