Quotes, one liners, phrases and what I say a lot.

Doing my usual blogsurfing today, I came across this post listing the Top 10 Action Hero one liners. Now, I disagree to an extent and I haven’t even heard some of the one liners mentioned which is most likely related to the fact that I hadn’t heard of some films. One thing that surprised me though was the absence of ‘Hasta La Vista, Baby’ which I thought was one of the best lines ever.

It is funny though how phrases and quotes are used in every day life. I keep annoying my housemate by saying random things like ‘FTW [For the win]‘ or Meanwhile, back at the ranch….. And it is true, there are plenty of things I say a lot, sometimes even without thinking. I mean after all, everything’s ‘for the win’, is it not?

Some quotes and one liners are so well known that almost everyone will know them, such as: ‘I’ve got a bad feeling about this’ [Star Wars] and ‘Live long and prosper’ [Star trek] to name just two.

And that’s the same in Germany and many other places. Isn’t it strange that we allow film quotes to take up such a part of our life? Or is this just the geek in me coming through?

That’s because it was made more famous by the Playstation game. I think every time you selected a level it said it… can’t remember… I have ever owned a Playstation.

Hello, my name is Lee Walkowich. I am also a huge fan of cats and star trek. But, I personally love Spock/Kirk or “Spirk”
gay love stories/ fan fics. Anyways, I work in a great music store in Washington DC, but I have some self esteem problems
due to my condition: I have a MICRO PENIS. WHAT A CURSE! Well, anyways, hope to see you at the next support group
meeting for Men With Micro Penises (MWMP).

    Love, Lee
