So, I was just downstairs in the kitchen and noticed the Rice Crispies cereals box [my housemates, I don't like them]. There was an advert for Shrek the Third on there. I wasn’t aware that they are making another Shrek film.
The geek in me then went on the internet and it is true, they are making another Shrek film!
Plot outline according to imdb:
When his new father-in-law, King Harold (John Cleese) falls ill, Shrek (Mike Myers) is looked at as the heir to the land of Far, Far Away. Not one to give up his beloved swamp, Shrek recruits his friends Donkey (Eddie Murphy) and Puss in Boots (Antonio Banderas) to install the rebellious Artie (Justin Timberlake) as the new king. Princess Fiona (Cameron Diaz), however, rallies a band of royal girlfriends to fends off a coup d’etat by the jilted Prince Charming (Rupert Everett).
The first two Shrek films are hilarious and I love them, however can another one work? Hasn’t it all been done before? I hope they are not going to mess it up. Release is set for June 2007.

Wow Ish…for second I just had a really weird image of someone shreiking OMG. The story line sounds like they ran out of plot lines. Usually the third in the series isn’t always great.

I saw the shorts for Shrek3 a few weeks back and , gee, it doesn’t look promising.
It really looks like it has been churned out to make from the series. One to miss.

Hmm, I don’t know, it’s feinitely building up loads for me. The other trailer definitely looks good and it is Shrek after all. Most of the main voice cast are returning and I can actually see the story working now. Mainly as the intro video to the demo of the game explained it a lot better.
I’m hoping it will be good.
