I have to say that this was kind of a reminder to myself as well. It just seems that the internet is getting smaller and smaller as well and I’ve got more and more profiles and sites around the net, such as this blog for example.

Gee, now that’s scary.I guess this is what password protected posts are for, even though I’ve never done one myself.I guess my teacher could be reading whatever I said about him.

Yeah, I keep forgetting just how visible all the information on the internet is. It’s not really such a bad thing at the moment, as I choose to share this information, but once I remove this information from the net I don’t want it to be around any more.

It’s just that you’ll always have to ask yourself the question whether or not people can find out where you live or if everyone can read about you what you don’t want them to read.
Hmmm. Might pay to have a protected blog for that sort of thing. Then the only way people would get that is if it got hacked. Saying that though, maybe it’s wiser not to write things you don’t want to get into trouble for down.

Yeah, there are a few photos of me on the net, but I’ve always been very careful with it. Actually I think pretty much the only photo out there is the one that’s also on my myspace profile.
The thing is who do you give access to the protected posts? And what is to stop those people from rightclicking the image and saving it?
That is true. I know what photos of me are out there. They are pretty much the ones on my hi5 account.
That is a good question. Who do you give the password to? Only those close as family and friends? But then they could take the photo and who knows what they might do with them? I guess the safest thing is not putting photos on the internet. Too late for me then lol.
I personally have not seen the need for a private blog so far, but if I did, I would create a whole new blog, not just have protected posts.
Ahahaha. I have posted stuff up on my blog what I think of my old teachers. They even viewed it while I was still at college. It’s funny when they talk to you about it. “yes I did mean every word of it, I wouldn’t of typed it if I didn’t”. You won’t get me posting my post address or phone number on the net… but there is nothing different about me from my online or offline persona.
My online and offline persona are the same, but I wouldn’t want to have anythign coming back and haunt me in a few years time. Things stay on the net, they don’t just disappear.
