SHReK the THiRD demo and film trailer

As I’ve mentioned in a previous post, there is a new Shrek film coming out, Shrek 3 or rather, SHRek the THiRD. To maximise the merchandise income there is also a multiplatform game based on the film coming out.

Yeah, I should probably stop there. I mean, never mind just how good the first two films have been [and they were excellent!], the games have not compared. Saying that the game based on Shrek 2 was just about fun.

The good thing about owning an Xbox360 is that there are demos available for download before the games are released. Just the last two weeks saw the release of the “Monster Madness: Battle for Suburbia”, “Command & Conquer 3″ and of course the “SHReK the THiRD” demo.

And it’s good fun. Sure, it’s fixed camera, basic fighting with some special moves [pulled off by pressing Y] and effectively smashing crates and collecting shiny things, but it’s the most fun I’ve had in a long time and I’ve now played the demo a few times. I will probably buy the game for that.

Talking of the game, here is also the trailer for the film.

I think this will be good.

I was going to post about this, anyway I have a nice little picture of a Graphical Glitch I got.

It’s me (Shrek) floating in mid-air and then Enemy at the Bottom trying to Run After Me.

Anyway of what I played it’s not that good and was it just me or did Shrek sound like he had the Flu?

You gonna post the image then? Sounds funny.

He didn’t sound quite like he’s got the flu, but there was something odd about his voice.

Yeah and I’m sure most people don’t think it’s that good, but I thought it was just straightforward, nothing much about it and fun. :P
