2. Advent

Time simply flies. Today’s the 2. Advent, well, by now it’s almost over.

The next few weeks I will be very busy with visiting my grandparents in Germany for a couple days, going to see the musical Avenue Q, doing Christmas shopping, finishing writing postcards, decorating the house, buying all the food for Christmas, getting the house in order and preparing myself for Christmas. And it’s only 14 days to go. Joy…

Meanwhile another one of my favourite Christmas songs is ‘Frosty the Snowman':

Cat

Lyrics..

Frosty the snowman was a jolly happy soul,
With a corncob pipe and a button nose
And two eyes made out of coal.
Frosty the snowman is a fairy tale, they say,
He was made of snow but the children
Know how he came to life one day.
There must have been some magic in that
Old silk hat they found.
For when they placed it on his head
He began to dance around.
O, Frosty the snowman
Was alive as he could be,
And the children say he could laugh
And play just the same as you and me.
Thumpetty thump thump,
Thumpety thump thump,
Look at Frosty go.
Thumpetty thump thump,
Thumpety thump thump,
Over the hills of snow.

Frosty the snowman knew
The sun was hot that day,
So he said, “Let’s run and
We’ll have some fun
Now before I melt away.”
Down to the village,
With a broomstick in his hand,
Running here and there all
Around the square saying,
Catch me if you can.
He led them down the streets of town
Right to the traffic cop.
And he only paused a moment when
He heard him holler “Stop!”
For Frosty the snow man
Had to hurry on his way,
But he waved goodbye saying,
“Don’t you cry,
I’ll be back again some day.”
Thumpetty thump thump,
Thumpety thump thump,
Look at Frosty go.
Thumpetty thump thump,
Thumpety thump thump,
Over the hills of snow.

Hi, Cat – It’s still the weekend in my part of the world, so …

Have a wonderful trip. Maybe you’ll share some photos?

Thanks, although it’s much more obligation and ‘having to go’ than wanting to. But if I’m lucky there should be loads of snow! :)

Ah cat, I so envy you for AvenueQ. The internet is for Porn has made me insane. I’ve sent it to so many people I can’t even remember! Send some more of their songs when you’re not busy.

And have a great time in Germany and shopping! :D

Ooh, I love the snow! And don’t worry, you can send it whenever you find the time. I’m in no hurry. You could maybe also zip and upload it to fileurls(dot)com and send me the URL it gives you. But be sure to make the expiry date to 7 days when uploading otherwise. How big is it anyway?

The philosophical basis of Christian drug rehab programs may not be well known to healthcare providers.
Goal setting provides recovering addicts with a way
to take control of their own lives in a way that leads to positive outcomes.
The Christian drug treatment comes along with a religious sentiment that
really works as appositive factor to help the people
to think about their weaknesses towards drugs and they start thinking seriously about leaving alcoholism and drugs.
