It’s been a long and busy week which is largely to do with something I’m not yet sharing on here or the internets at large. However, in addition to that this week’s been stressful.
I wasn’t able to sleep properly for over a week for reasons I don’t know. I even laid off the coffee or the alcohol for a few days and it didn’t help. Perhaps it was related to some resurgence of anxiety at life in general or perhaps just that I caught another cold last weekend or maybe I was just too busy that more than three hours a night just weren’t possible. I have more than caught up this weekend though sleeping most of yesterday and a large part of today and I’m predicting an early night.
I’ve done a lot this week. I’ve been out five nights this week, three of them late nights where I only came home after 2am. Technically I should include Friday the 22nd, too, which lasted until 5am. This really is quite unlike me, but it had overall been a good week often catching up with people I hadn’t seen in a while. It just wasn’t conductive to my sleeping!
Saturday last week I went to London to buy a new phone. Well, that wasn’t the main reason, but it ended up to just come down to it. Spent far too much money on it, but so far it’s definitely been worth it!
Wednesday was also the latest #rdgtweetup which had a lot of people attend.
And in between those days there have been plenty of nights out, mostly far too late.
This week I’m aiming to be more sensible and not only because I spent a ridiculous amount of money last week! There are household chores to be done, such as laundry and sorting out the cupboards, but also finally rearranging the furniture in the spare bedroom and tidying up the garden. As such I have a very exciting list with tasks for every evening and hope that I’ll actually get organised enough to do them!
