The lovely Joe bought me a Kindle and I’d rediscovered my love for reading. I don’t whether it is because it’s so easy to pick up a book for just a few minutes at a time or perhaps the instant gratification of reading a purchased book within a minute on my Kindle, but since January I have read 61 books. Clearly not all of them are very high-brow!

Not using Goodreads..?
I don’t actually. Does it sync with the Kindle somehow? I fear if I have to do anything manually I won’t keep it up to date.
No its a manually updated site. I use that for my graphic novel reading & Letterboxd for my movie watching. Can send you an invite for the latter if you wish as it is still in beta?
Well, I signed up to it – I’m carocat on there.
As for Letterbox I have an invite already, thanks, but don’t think I ever signed up to it. I’ve run out of time with everything in 2012 so any non-essential sites haven’t made the cut. Last.fm is fantastic cause I don’t have to do anything for it or remember it. Why can’t Goodreads and Letterbox do the same? :(
