Dropbox and Evernote beta invites giveaway!

Update: NO LONGER HAVE ANY INVITES. Sorry!

Got some beta invites for Dropbox and Evernote to giveaway. Simply reply to this post or contact me.

Dropbox is an online file backup and sharing service. There’s a great explanatory video on the website.

Evernote is basically a sticky note.

Evernote allows you to easily capture information in any environment using whatever device or platform you find most convenient, and makes this information accessible and searchable at anytime, from anywhere.

If you already have either, what do you think about it?

Compared to the Joost invite giveaway you did last year, this is nothing. Hell I’m still in the waiting line for that and I think Joost left beta a long time ago! :P

I’ve got one invite left! And it looks liek Evernote has been improved:

Thanks for signing up for the Evernote Beta. Here’s a quick update on what we’ve been doing since the beta launch.

The Evernote Beta has been going strong for a few weeks now, and in that short time we’ve made numerous improvements and enhancements to every aspect of the service.

Here’s a shortlist of our recent enhancements
    – On the web: Increased speed, added supported browsers, improved web page clipping
    – On Windows: Faster indexing, improved drag-n-drop support, ability to install and run Evernote on a USB drive
    – On Mac: Improved stability and usability, added support for to-do checkboxes
    – On Windows Mobile: Improved digital ink support, greater compatibility with various phone models
    – Service update: Expanded recognition server capacity in response to high demand

More and more ways to get information into Evernote
Here’s the growing list of ways you can get notes into Evernote: create notes on any client (Mac, Windows, web, mobile); clip webpages with the Evernote bookmarklet; take mobile phone snapshots; take webcam snapshots; email notes into Evernote; record audio clips; drag-n-drop; take screenshot notes; jot notes in digital ink on tablets and pocket PCs.

Share your notebooks with your friends and the world
On Mac and web you can publish any notebook and share it with anyone. Each public notebook has an RSS feed associated with it, so friends can subscribe to your public notebooks.

    Keep sensitive data local
One of the great things about Evernote is its ability to synchronize all your notes and memories across all the devices you use. We realize that sometimes you prefer that your information stay on your machine. You can now create local notebooks on both the Windows and Mac clients. These notebooks never synchronize.

    Press coverage
Catch up on the latest Evernote reviews in: Wired, TUAW, The Apple Blog, DownloadSquad, Lifehacker, Thrillist, O’Reilly Blog, and more at our media page: http://www.evernote.com/about/corp/news/

We’re glad that many of you are enjoying Evernote. The whole point of the beta is for us to test the system and get user feedback, so please try out the new features and let us know what you think.

    Thanks,
    The Evernote team
